Massimo Lovisolo owns and operates a tiny wine estate making still and sparkling wines from traditional Piemontese grapes. Originally making only enough wine to give to friends and family, Siema Wines Imports pressed him into making enough for the U.S. market as well.
Barbera is the most planted, produced, and consumed red grape in the Piemonte area of Italy. Since they produce so much red wine from this grape it’s a treat when someone makes a rose sparkling or still.
